Overview

Parlak QR is a private, offline, ad-free QR code studio. It is designed from the ground up to respect your privacy. The app runs entirely on your device — no data is ever sent to external servers, and no internet connection is required to use any feature.

Data Collection

We do not collect any data. Specifically:

No personal information is collected, stored, or transmitted.
No analytics, telemetry, or crash reports are sent.
No advertising SDKs or tracking frameworks are included.
No accounts or sign-ins are required.
No cookies or device identifiers are used.

Device Permissions

The app may request the following permissions, solely for on-device functionality:

Camera — Used exclusively to scan QR codes through the live viewfinder. Camera data is processed in real time on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Photo Library — Used only when you choose to pick an image to embed as a center logo in a QR code. Selected images are processed locally and are never uploaded or shared.

Both permissions are optional. You can deny them and still use the app's QR generation features.

Local Storage

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

QR code history — A record of codes you generate or scan, stored in the app's private sandbox using SharedPreferences.
Language preference — Your selected display language (English, Russian, or Turkmen).
Exported images — QR code PNGs you save or share are stored temporarily in the app's cache directory and shared via the system share sheet.

All local data can be cleared at any time by using the "Clear all" function in the History tab, or by deleting the app.

Third-Party Services

Parlak QR does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs that collect user data. The app makes zero network requests.

Children's Privacy

The app does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. It is safe for use by people of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be published here with an updated date. Since the app collects no data, material changes are unlikely.
